Jack Holliday Hughes is a storyteller, animator, and illustrator who is inspired by folklore and mythology. Much of his spare time is spent in character design and writing. He has a degree in animation from the University of Gloucestershire BA (Hons).
Funding from Brave Island's Young Creative of the Month Fund helped him finish and self-publish Freda and the Troll King, a story about a brave and quick-thinking young girl who, lost in an ancient forest, finds herself face-to-face with large and terrible trolls after unwittingly commiting a crime in their realm.
